The Mewa-Arena can be reached via tram lines 51 and 53 at the “Hochschule Mainz,” “Jakob-Heinz-Straße/Arena,” and “Kisselberg” stops.

For home games, the tried-and-true shuttle bus service will continue to operate independently of the tram service, thereby continuing to transport fans to and from the stadium before and after home games. The shuttle buses will run as usual, starting 3 hours before kickoff and continuing until 2 hours after the final whistle.

The routes will start at the main train station, as before, at stop area S, and at the stadium (special stop on Saarstraße) at stop areas A and B. The routes to the P+R lot at the exhibition grounds in Hechtsheim will start at stop area C on Saarstraße.

During peak times, the following restrictions on tram service must be implemented for safety reasons in consultation with the police:

Before the game starts:

All trams will stop at the Hochschule Mainz, Jakob-Heinz-Straße/Arena, and Kisselberg stops.

After the game ends:

For 60 minutes after the final whistle, the Jakob-Heinz-Straße/Arena and Hochschule Mainz stops will not be served. Trams will stop at the Kisselberg stop, right next to the shuttle buses.

For tram lines 51 and 53, the regular schedule generally applies, though it will be supplemented with additional trips as needed.
