Tim Ott (Greens) and Melissa Enders (CDU) will face off in the runoff election on March 22
Today, the Election Committee of the State Capital of Mainz, chaired by Chief Election Officer Mayor Nino Haase, met at Stadthaus Mainz to announce the official final results of the election for district administrator of the Mainz-Oberstadt district, held on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
The preliminary review of the election records for completeness and correctness did not reveal any objections.
The results from all voting districts were tallied, yielding the following overall result:

Of the valid votes, the following were cast for the candidate:

The Election Committee determined that the two candidates, Tim Ott (Greens) and Melissa Enders (CDU), received the most valid votes cast and will therefore advance to the runoff election for village mayor on Sunday, March 22, 2026.
