Ticket Sales Begin for the Advent Afternoon and Doughnut Coffee for Seniors
On Thursday, November 5, 2026, advance ticket sales will begin for the traditional Advent afternoon and the doughnut coffee hour for seniors.
Tickets are available every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the office of the Mainz Senior Citizens’ Advisory Council (Stadthaus Kaiserstraße, Kreyßig Wing, 1st floor, Room 113, Kaiserstraße 3–5, Mainz). Tickets cost €5 each. Admission is free for MainzPass holders. The Advent afternoon with a Christmas-themed stage program will take place on Wednesday, December 2, 2026, at 2:30 p.m., with doors opening at 2:00 p.m. The “Kreppelkaffee” events, organized by the Mainzer Freischützengarde, will take place on Tuesday, January 19, 2027, and Wednesday, January 20, 2027, at 3:11 p.m., with the hall opening at 2:00 p.m. All events will be held at the Haus der Jugend, Mitternachtsgasse 8, 55116 Mainz.
