Workshop: “Homemade Cosmetics—Know What’s In Them!”
Whether it’s microplastics or other highly persistent chemicals, environmental pollutants are often widespread in cosmetic products. In the workshop “Make Your Own Cosmetics—Know What’s In Them!”, participants will make various personal care and cleaning products consisting of just a few basic ingredients.
We also make our own soap—it’s versatile and can be customized with your own scent. It’s fun, easy on the wallet, and good for the environment all at once. Maybe this class could also be an idea for homemade Christmas gifts.
The workshop will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Mainzer Umweltladen (Steingasse 3-9, 55116 Mainz). Since space is limited, please register in advance by email at umweltinformationstadt.mainzde or by phone at 06131 / 12 21 21.
