Fan Project Mainz e.V.

Purpose of the association

Fanprojekt Mainz e.V. operates as a recognized independent youth welfare organization.

In their practical work, the Fan Project staff focus on the everyday lives of their target group, soccer fans. Preventing or reducing violence and extremist tendencies, as well as integrating young Mainz 05 supporters into the fan scene, are important objectives of the Fan Project.

In addition, the Fan Project staff act as a link between fans on the one hand and the relevant social institutions and their representatives on the other. They communicate the fans' position by advocating on their behalf and trying to foster greater understanding and commitment to this type of youth culture.

Fan house opening hours: Tuesdays 3 p.m. - 10 p.m., Wednesdays 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Association register: VR 41088
Founded: 1994
