Since its founding in 2001, the non-profit Freundeskreis Musikhochschule Mainz e.V. (Friends of Mainz University of Music) has supported education at the University of Music. Our circle includes current and former members of the University of Music and the University of Mainz, as well as public figures from the worlds of culture and business.

We are jointly committed to the artistic development of young musicians and provide support where public funds are scarce or no longer available. After all, a successful start to an artistic or artistic-educational career depends on many factors: a high level of personal commitment on the part of students and teachers, opportunities to further develop one's own artistic potential through practical professional experience, and, last but not least, the quality of the study conditions.
