Since 1984, the parents' association has been supporting children and young people with cancer and their families with a wide range of services and projects, including the financing of additional positions in the pediatric cancer ward at Mainz University Medical Center. All family members

are accompanied by a professional psychosocial team. The parents' house near the clinic provides relatives with a temporary home during their child's treatment. The parents'

association also helps with its social fund in cases of financial hardship due to illness.
