The association is a community of artists and art lovers. It promotes all historical and contemporary forms of visual art through exhibitions, excursions, and courses. The Kunstverein Eisenturm Mainz e.V. is based in the Eisenturm, a building that was part of the city fortifications during the Staufer period. We hold cabinet exhibitions in these rooms. For larger projects, you can find us in the MVB Gallery, Neubrunnenstraße 2, or in the town hall. In accordance

with its statutes, the Kunstverein Eisenturm pursues exclusively and directly charitable purposes. It is run by volunteer members. The association is politically and ideologically independent. Membership is open to everyone. We are a member of the AdKV (Working Group of German Art Associations).
