The Rural Women’s Association is open to all interested women. It offers a varied program from October through April; there is a summer break from May through September during the main harvest season. The program includes lectures and classes on cooking, crafts, and general personal development.

The association organizes sightseeing trips and theater outings, hosts its own “Kreppelkaffee” (coffee and doughnuts) gatherings, and holds an Advent celebration; it also participates in the annual Advent market with homemade cakes and pies.

The exercise group meets weekly during the winter months.

The Rural Women’s Association’s events are primarily held in the evenings to give working women and mothers the opportunity to participate.
