Making music together is a cultural achievement that breaks down barriers of social, cultural, and national origin and creates a new sense of community. The Mainz Singakademie

has committed itself to this task in the traditions of the Mainz Liedertafel and cantare mainz through civic engagement, thus forming a cornerstone of cultural life in the Mainz region.

Its aim is to develop and perform works that represent the diversity of music over the centuries. In addition, it also seeks to create a place where people can come together regardless of their background, and where, as a model of a tolerant and supportive society, the stronger support the weaker.
