The association sees its task as promoting the dissemination of "Marc Chagall's Biblical Message," particularly in St. Stephen's Church. "Marc Chagall's Biblical Message" means communicating the biblical message to people through his pictorial means of expression and his interpretation of biblical texts.

The association achieves its purpose by organizing or participating in meditations, guided tours, lectures, and other events in St. Stephen's Church that provide access to the work of Marc Chagall and his religious statements; and by offering publications on the Chagall windows at its bookstand in St. Stephen's Church. 

The association also aims to contribute to the protection and preservation of the windows.
