The association’s goal is to preserve the character of the residential area on the Frankenhöhe in Mainz-Hechtsheim, to protect the current zoning plan, and to keep the “Auf dem Hewwel” square traffic-free as the last remaining public gathering place.  

In addition, it promotes activities that shape the residential area and foster a sense of community. 

It ensures that it can participate in the City of Mainz’s planning and decision-making processes and advocates for the active involvement of all residents of Frankenhöhe.
