Mainzer Automobil-Club e.V. (AvD)

Purpose of the association

The members of the Mainz Automobile Club share a love of automobiles in all their facets. Our active club life is reflected in numerous events and weekly club evenings. We look back with pride on over 90 years of motorsport tradition and numerous events in all areas of society.

Since its foundation, the MAC has organized various motorsport events. This began with automobile excursions and continued with the organization of the DTM at the Hockenheimring as the event organizer in the 1990s, right up to our current classic car rally, the Mainz Automobile Classic, with 120 classic cars.

Founded: December 1926
