Network of Catholic Lesbians (Nkal) e.V.

Purpose of the association

What does "Catholic lesbians" mean here? Our
members' proximity to the Catholic Church varies greatly, from deeply rooted to distant, committed or estranged. Even though the "Catholic" in our name is important to us, we are open to women who are searching for a spiritual home and want to do so within a Christian framework. We want to make ecumenism tangible and share an interest in lived spirituality. That is why we maintain good contacts with other lesbian and gay networks or Christian initiatives, including at the international level.

What do we offer?
The opportunity for women to participate in our groups. Women from the NkaL diaspora are connected with each other upon request. We have two fixed dates per year: network meetings in spring and fall, with the opportunity to get to know each other, exchange ideas, work on content, and handle internal network matters. Upon request, we also offer trial weekends for women who are not members of the network.
