With our association SoNaKo Mainz e.V. (SolidarischNachhaltigKonsumieren), we want to educate people about topics related to sustainable consumption, raise awareness of the importance of the issue, and highlight the interconnection between different areas. We want to offer a way to obtain sustainable, organically produced food from the region—and therefore seasonal—at fair prices and with fair wages.

The association runs a members' store that stands for fair working conditions and wages as well as environmentally friendly and sustainably produced everyday products and food—regional, seasonal, and unpackaged whenever possible.
