The Mainz Tourism Fund is an innovative model for promoting tourism in the capital of Rhineland-Palatinate. Created in 2017, the fund brings together stakeholders from the private and public sectors who share a common goal: the long-term development of Mainz as a tourism and conference destination. To this end, funds from the private sector are supplemented by funds from the municipal economic development agency. 

Its members include key players from the hotel, restaurant, retail, cultural, and service industries. The involvement of numerous interest groups, industry associations, and chambers covers a broad spectrum of tourism-related institutions.
