The Mainz Wine Guild is an association of wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs—both men and women—dedicated to promoting “wine as a cultural asset.” It has set itself the goal of working to preserve and revitalize wine culture, knowledge of wine in general and of Rheinhessen wine in particular, to foster camaraderie and friendship between winemakers and wine lovers, and to contribute to discerning wine criticism for the purpose of preserving and enhancing wine and its reputation.
