The measures listed in the funding application relate to energy-saving measures that are not required by EU standards or legal regulations but represent environmental measures that go beyond these requirements.

There is no legal requirement for energy generation following sewage sludge incineration.

The basis for the implementation of additional environmental measures was the constructive cooperation between the planner and the client (TVM GmbH). The objective was to select and combine energy-efficient mechanical equipment for sewage sludge incineration available on the market in such a way that its type and arrangement resulted in a particularly energy-optimized overall project.
