Because water is "weather-sensitive"
Watering plants, cleaning a gravestone inscription, or simply washing your hands: water has many uses in cemeteries and is therefore in high demand. That is why all our burial sites have sufficient fountains. However, they are not always turned on. This is because water is "weather-sensitive."
In other words, the fountains are turned off at the beginning of the frost period. This prevents damage to the outdoor water pipes. However, the cemeteries will not be completely without water in the coming months. The connections in the public toilets will of course continue to function during the cold season.
At the latest when the plants wake up from hibernation and Old Man Winter takes a break, it's time to say, "Water march!" and our employees gradually turn the fountains back on.
