Mainzer Steiger/ship moorings
There are currently eleven boat landing stages in Mainz, known as Mainzer Steiger. Seven of these belong to shipping companies, while the remaining four belong to us: we are responsible for their administration, coordination, and maintenance, as well as booking enquiries.
Shore power now also in Mainz
Since summer 2024, our barges have been equipped with shore power – funded by the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Economic Affairs. Ships in Mainz are required to use shore power if they are moored for 30 minutes or longer.
