Ebersheim rainwater retention basin

The final major work on the new rainwater retention basin in Mainz-Ebersheim was carried out under the motto: "Put the lid on it." At the roundabout on Töngesstraße, the new basin was connected to the sewer and the opening was covered with a 30-centimeter-thick concrete slab.

The round opening in the bottom right of the image is covered with a larger manhole cover. In the future, our colleagues will be able to enter the sewer here for maintenance work.
