The banks of the Rhine in Mainz are divided into three sections. The Adenauer bank, which begins in Neustadt and extends to Fischtorplatz; the Stresemann bank, which ends at Fort Malakoff; and finally the Victor Hugo bank, which extends to the railway bridge. On the opposite side of the Rhine, the Kasteler bank is ideal for sunbathing. From there, you can quickly and easily reach the Maaraue.

In addition to walks, jogging and picnics, the banks of the Rhine in Mainz are also ideal for boating.
