The cultural budget of the state capital Mainz primarily provides funds to support the cultural programs of organizations and institutions. The main goal of institutional funding is to ensure long-term security for these organizations in their work and to provide them with a basis for expanding and developing their activities.
Due to the difficult budgetary situation, no additional institutions or initiatives can currently be included in institutional funding. However, applications for new funding will be considered as soon as the budgetary situation improves.
