Defibrillators for resuscitation in the event of cardiac arrest
On June 15, 2011, the Mainz City Council decided to publish locations where defibrillators for resuscitation in the event of cardiac arrest are located. It also decided to set up publicly accessible emergency call pillars with integrated defibrillators in the city.
Publicly accessible emergency call points with automated external defibrillators (AED between the main railway station and the town hall):
- Main station, station square, near the Ditsch pretzel bakery sales stand
- Neubrunnenplatz, on the side of the MVB building near Café Pomp
- Emmeransstraße, on the side wall of the Sparda Bank
- Kaufhof main entrance: Corner of Stadthausstraße/Schusterstraße
- Gutenbergplatz, on the side wall of the Hypovereinsbank
- Leichhof, at the entrance to Sparkasse Mainz
- Rebstockplatz, corner of Korbgasse, near the market
- Jockel-Fuchs-Platz, elevator in front of the town hall
