Mainz Athletics "Play Ball!": Mainz Athletics, the 2016 German baseball champions, play successful baseball at the ballpark on Hartmühlenweg in Gonsenheim.

It has 10 teams, ranging from the Bundesliga team to youth and amateur teams, with up to 1,000 spectators per game. It is the 2016 German champion and was also champion in 2007. The club also has 15 junior titles to its name.

The green and yellow team not only plays in the first Bundesliga, but is also successful in all other league levels and in softball.
