Gutenberg Express

All aboard, please – every day from 10:30 a.m. every 70 minutes at Gutenberg-Platz. Then the tourist train starts its tour through Mainz: past the cathedral, down to the banks of the Rhine to the new synagogue in Mainz's Neustadt district and back to the starting point.

Exit and entry

You can interrupt your journey at ten stops and then continue again. For example, get off at the St. Stephan stop and admire the famous Chagall windows. Or pay a visit to the Gutenberg Museum.

You can also learn interesting facts about the sights during the ride in German, English, and French.

On Saturdays and Sundays, an additional train runs via the citadel.
