A bus full of students, two wineries, and the taste of Rheinhessen—the GWC Wine Express is back on the road, taking you to the best wineries in the region. Whether you're a freshman or a senior, studying German, computer science, or chemistry, attending a university or college, or coming from Mainz, Munich, or Milan, there's plenty to see, learn, and, of course, taste on this trip! Find out what makes the region so special. Spend an unforgettable time with your fellow students or take the opportunity to meet new people with whom you already have something in common – a love of wine.

Here you will meet the people behind the wine, explore the vineyards and cellars, learn and taste the difference between single-vineyard and local wines – and much more! Always with you: a Rheinhessen wine majesty who accompanies the group, tells you about the region, and shares insider tips from a wine aristocrat.

Between June and November, you can get to know seven top wineries around Mainz. The selected wineries have all been awarded the GWC's Best of Wine Tourism Award for their wine tourism offerings.

All you need is a valid student ID and a love of wine. Then you're ready to go!
