Salary

The remuneration and classification of the mayor and deputy mayors is regulated by the state ordinance on the remuneration and expense allowances of full-time municipal elected officials (Kommunal-Besoldungsverordnung).

The mayor is classified in salary grade B 7. According to the State Remuneration Ordinance, this corresponds to a basic salary of €11,006.15, or €11,206.15 from November onwards.

In addition, the mayor and deputy mayors receive an expense allowance. This is also specified in the Municipal Remuneration Ordinance.

The mayor received an allowance for expenses incurred in the performance of his duties in the amount of €262.29.
