The association has taken over responsibility for the Mainz Carnival Museum and the Mainz Carnival Archive. 

Its approximately 70 members work on a voluntary basis. Among other things, their selfless commitment ensures that the Mainz Carnival Museum is open 6 days a week. They

also take care of the professional archiving and maintenance of new additions and the extensive archive holdings.

If you are interested in and enjoy preserving the "Määnzer Fassenacht" tradition, we would be delighted to welcome you as a member of the association or even as a volunteer in our friendly team.
