Krempelmarkt 2026 - Dates and When Bookings Open

Ticket sales for events starting in July began on Friday, May 8, 2026. Tickets are available at ticket outlets or through the booking portal.

To access the booking portal, please click on “Online Services” at the top of the page.

Tickets can be purchased through the booking portal until 8:00 a.m. on the respective event day, subject to availability. Therefore, there will be no allocation of remaining seats.

For participants with a valid booth ticket:

• Entry to the grounds and setup begin at 6:30 a.m.
• Sales from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Take down by 4:00 p.m. at the latest 

After the market closes, the spaces assigned to you must be left free of objects and cleaned of all trash.

For cancellations subject to a fee, please contact the market administration by phone or email no later than the Monday before the Krempelmarkt date. You cannot cancel your reservation yourself via the booking portal.

Children’s and Youth Area

Adjacent to the reserved area is the Children’s and Youth Area. Only children and youth between the ages of 7 and 14, inclusive, may participate in the Krempelmarkt here free of charge and without registration. You can inquire about available spaces with representatives of the Mainz City Administration on the day of the event.

Only items typically used by children and youth—in particular clothing, toys, and books—may be offered for sale. Accompanying adults are permitted to be present.

The fire department areas introduced in 2025 serve the purpose of general safety. These are not free parking spaces and must be kept clear of any objects.

The Mainz City Administration’s Krempelmarkt Bylaws, as currently in effect, apply to both visitors and vendors of goods.

Commercial vendors are not permitted.

Standard ticket without parking: 25 euros
Combined ticket with parking: 30 euros
Cancellation fee: 1 euro
Service fee: 1 euro
Postage for tickets sent via the booking portal: 2.50 euros

Tickets can be paid for by credit card, PayPal, or prepayment. Cash payments are also possible at advance sales outlets.

Pitch tickets can be purchased online via the booking portal or at authorized ticket outlets. Reservations by email or phone are not accepted.
