The Kapellenhof Winery in Selzen has been awarded the 2015 Prize for Architecture, Parks, and Gardens. The historic complex, whose roots date back to the 14th century, features an Art Nouveau villa from 1901 with original windows and doors, its own wine shop, and a garden tended by the Schätzel family in the style of English landscape gardens, offers an experience for all the senses in conjunction with the Michelin-starred restaurant “Kaupers.” The sunny garden, the wine restaurant, and the wine bar are perfect destinations for enjoying the very best of Rheinhessen’s wines.
