Cypresses, sequoias, and palm trees adorn the courtyard and garden. In the middle of the boxwood circle stands the three-tiered yew tree—the logo of the Listmann Winery. It represents nature, transformed into garden culture by human hands with much love and patience. As with the vines: the natural product of the grape becomes the cultural asset of wine.
The Listmann Winery receives the Best Of Wine Tourism Award 2019 in the category "Architecture, Parks, and Gardens" for this romantic and lovingly designed estate.
The traditional winery is run by Eckhard Listmann, a graduate agricultural engineer, and his sons, master winemaker Welf and viticultural technician Leif. The winery has been participating in the Open Gardens and Farms/Gardens at Dusk event for 15 years.
