The Ernst Bretz winery, now in its ninth generation, offers wine tastings in the rustic and charming Kuhkapelle chapel, the modern wine shop, or the courtyard with its Tuscan flair, as well as guided tours. There, guests can learn about all the steps involved in wine production. The winery has already won several awards (e.g., "Winemaker of the Year 2013").
From the estate’s vineyard on the Petersberg, you can look down on Rheinhessen and the Frankfurt skyline. A wine bar is set to open at the foot of the hill in the future. But even now, the winery offers a highly dedicated and professional wine-related service—which the jury has recognized with a Best Of Wine Tourism Award 2020.
