The K.&K. Dautermann winery in Ingelheim combines over 125 years of tradition with consistently sustainable viticulture. With its inclusive project "Das Blaue Schaf" (The Blue Sheep), the winery creates genuine participation for people with disabilities.

In close cooperation with partners, it offers wine of the same name. Every single bottle from Das Blaue Schaf is a liquid "message in a bottle" and helps to raise awareness of the issue of inclusion. The proceeds support social projects.

At Dautermanns, sustainability is an integral part of business operations: from work in the vineyard to the design of participatory activities to communication with guests, who will also find a wine shop and overnight accommodation here. This redefines wine tourism as sustainable, inclusive, and experiential.

A commendable approach, which the jury has recognized with the Best of Wine Tourism Award 2026 in the category "Sustainability in Wine Tourism."
