The Best of Wine Tourism Award 2010 in the category "Wine Tourism and Service" goes to Jordan's Untermühle in Köngernheim. The jury's unanimous decision was based on "the excellent cuisine and wine expertise, the great location of the estate, and the appealing ambience of the house." The majestic half-timbered property in the middle of extensive grounds was first mentioned in the 14th century as a watermill. Since November 2005, it has been run as a hotel and restaurant by the Jordan family. With eleven new guest rooms, it combines traditional mill romance with modern accents.
