The state capital of Mainz has launched an ideas competition with the intention of developing an artistic and landscape design concept for a memorial site commemorating the disenfranchisement and expulsion of Mainz citizens by Mainz citizens during the Second World War.

The 17 competition entries, from which a jury selected the winner on March 10, 2017, will be presented in an exhibition at Mainz City Hall from March 23 to April 22, 2017.
