We are a group of people whose love for Santorini and animals brought us together. We didn't want to stand idly by, simply go on vacation, close our eyes, or say that it was none of our business. Animals have no nationality!

So we founded an association to help the animals on Santorini. At the same time, a small local association called SAWA was also established. Together, the few active helpers and we have achieved a lot over the years, but the need is still there. And our work is still enormously important for the animals of Santorini. We

now run a small animal shelter on Santorini, where stray dogs can find comfort and safety and from where we look for homes for these wonderful and gentle animals. We are also constantly looking for sponsors for the dogs there...
