You can report any damage to structural surfaces that could pose a hazard to the road maintenance department in the road operations division. Responsibility for this is determined by the district. 

Structural surfaces include:

• Asphalt (roads)
• Paving slabs
• Paving stones

You can report damage by telephone or email. The damage must be located within the city limits of Mainz. The following information

is required for the report:

• as specific a location as possible
• a description of the type of damage
