With its own book, "Der Verein – Für ein lebenswertes Mainz und Rheinhessen e.V." (The Association – For a Livable Mainz and Rheinhessen), the initiative against increasing aircraft noise is breaking new ground in terms of public relations and financing future tasks. In the book, which is over 100 pages long, the association describes its efforts from 2006 to 2008 and the current situation.
In addition to experts, affected citizens also have their say, and Heino Schwarz summarizes their arguments, statements, and fears in a readable and passionate way. It is an unusual book and a courageous project that could not be more fitting. In an exciting narrative, the author takes the reader on a journey from the initial idea to the founding of the association and the filing of the lawsuit before the Hessian Administrative Court in February 2008
