The extended registration certificate provides information about where you are registered or serves as proof of your place of residence.

In addition to the basic registration certificate, the extended registration certificate contains the following information:

• legal representative, spouse, partner, and minor children, each with
• surname and first names, doctorate, date of birth, address
• current nationalities
• current addresses, previous addresses within the jurisdiction of the registration authority, and address of the last sole residence or main residence and the last secondary residences outside the jurisdiction of the registration authority, marked as main and secondary residences; if moving from abroad, also the country and the last address in Germany; if moving abroad, also the address of the new residence abroad and the country
• Move-in date, move-out date, and
• Marital status
• Religious affiliation

If you apply in person, your application will be processed immediately.

• Proof of identity such as an identity card or passport
• If applicable, written power of attorney and identity card or passport of the authorized person
