The Citizens' Office provides numerous public-intensive services for the citizens of the state capital Mainz. These include the naturalization and foreigners authorities as well as the central citizens' service and the 15 local administrations. The Service Center (the central telephone information service 115) and the electoral office are also part of the area of responsibility.
