The electoral office plans, organizes and coordinates the structure and course of public elections as well as referendums and plebiscites. This includes the approval of election proposals, including the verification of supporting signatures, the determination and evaluation of results, the recruitment and training of electoral assistants, the provision of resources, the use of IT, public announcements and reporting.
