The Traffic Monitoring Office is divided into the Traffic Monitoring, Fines, and Towing Departments, as well as the Traffic Department, which handles vehicle registration and driver’s license matters.

The approximately 140 employees monitor stationary and moving traffic and initiate the towing of vehicles. They inspect and remove unregistered vehicles and scrap bicycles, and handle traffic violations and towing procedures.
In addition, they handle driver’s license and vehicle registration procedures, as well as the licensing and oversight of the taxi and rental car industries.
