The BASIS housing project is part of the addiction support department and offers targeted, high-threshold drug support services. The housing project includes an aftercare residential group, assisted living, and follow-up care. The deliberately central location of the housing project allows residents to reach all government offices and important institutions on foot or by bicycle. Thanks to its proximity to the main train station, training and workplaces are within easy reach. To protect the residents, the address is not published; the contact address is the BRÜCKE youth and drug counseling center. The aim of the program is to stabilize the success of inpatient treatment in the long term and prevent relapse. A new life plan is developed individually with each resident.
Target group: clean drug addicts who have completed inpatient medical rehabilitation, want to build a life in Mainz, and want to live abstinent.
