Authenticity, quality, and the personal service of a family-run winery—that’s what the Erbeldinger Family Winery in Wonnegau, Rheinhessen, offers. Three generations call this place home, and every family member has a permanent role in an ambitious and passionate team. This has led to the addition of a “summer restaurant” in the winery’s garden over the past few years.
Sustainability is a top priority here. Starting with the organic cultivation of the vineyards —the 2023 vintage wines will be the first to carry organic certification—to efficient and modern cellar technology and a high proportion of returnable bottles, which the winery’s customers return for reuse.
The Erbeldinger Family Winery’s sustainability concept is well-rounded, and for this reason, it receives the award for “Sustainability in Wine Tourism.”
