The Anna Seghers Public Library is committed to promoting knowledge and education. It is a meeting place for all age groups and social classes. The central library alone has over 130,000 media items covering non-fiction, fiction, children's media, and much more for all ages and interests. Children and young people will find not only media to borrow in the children's library and the Lern- und LesBar (learning and reading bar), but also opportunities for reading and learning. A wide range of projects to promote language and reading, online services, and events round out the offerings. Five district libraries complete the library system with a focus on children and families.
