, we would like to provide you with information about the diverse tasks of the Mayor's Department and, at the same time, ensure greater transparency on current issues – whether they concern council or administrative matters.
Department I includes committees such as the city council and local advisory councils, but also cross-departmental areas such as intermunicipal cooperation, migration, European affairs, and gender equality issues. Central administrative management, including personnel matters, elections, statistics, and communication between the city administration and citizens, as well as international and legal affairs, are handled here, in addition to the mayor's representation of the city.
The diverse range of services also includes the fire department, the registry office, the citizens' office, and auditing. In addition to providing a brief overview, selected services are designed to shorten the process.
