The office of the Appraisal Committee collects and analyzes data on all real estate sales in Mainz. It publishes this data in the Real Estate Market Report, provides standard land values, and thereby ensures transparency in the real estate market. Upon request, it also prepares market value appraisals.

According to the departmental organization chart, the office is part of Department III: Economy and Real Estate. For technical reasons, however, you will find all information under Department VIII: Construction, Historic Preservation, and Historical Heritage.
