Please note:
For important administrative matters, we recommend calling the government hotline at 115 to check whether the local administration office is open as scheduled. Foreign residents can
only register at the Citizens' Office, Kaiserstrasse 3-5.

If there is a high volume of visitors, the local administration office may close early.
Experience has shown that the local administration office is busiest on service afternoons. You can expect shorter waiting times on service mornings.
