The Dätwyl Winery is a classic example of a traditional four-sided farmstead in Rheinhessen. In addition to a medieval residential and defensive tower, a romantic cow chapel, and an extensive cellar vault, there is also a 19th-century day laborer's house. After extensive renovations, it now serves as a guest room and vacation home. As a deliberate counterpart to the historic farm ensemble, a modern wine shop has been built as the new heart of the winery, where visitors can taste and purchase the estate's own wines. The wine shop has been awarded the "Barrier-free Rhineland-Palatinate" seal of approval.
The three guest rooms and the vacation home for up to eight people offer a relaxing wine experience. Themed wine tastings, gourmet packages, guided tours, and even participation in the grape harvest round off the Dettweiler family's innovative wine tourism package.
